To help celebrate our 8th anniversary; Our owner has created 10 full-sized products that will supply your tresses with soulful memories of her late mother Mrs. Melba.

There will be five drops during each drop/pickup we will start with the oldest date of purchase and following with the newest until all orders are gone. If you purchase additional items they will ship together at the time of shipping.

Melba's Lemon Meringue Curl Friendly Jelly (Curl Filling)

Sounds sticky, right??

Well, let’s get this show on the road....…. My mother Mrs. Melba absolutely adored lemon meringue pie. She would buy these gems at Winn-Dixie stores and serve to us warmed with vanilla ice cream. While she over loved it, she was not able to recreate this particular pie in our kitchen; I cannot recall if she ever even tried. I believe that my siblings had all checked out on the meringue being so sticky/thick looking and they would not eat it to save their lives. Me and mama would sit and enjoy these pies together as it was a true joy to have some company while indulging in sweet lemon goodness. 

Creativity Corner: Our owner, decided to combine Lemon Butter and Aloe gel oil both providing many benefits to your curly girl method. Rumor has it, that our gels are on the looser side when it comes to consistency. Hey, don’t knock them until you try them! This one comes with a special pump and it’s still in jar. *wink*

Melba's Sea kelp & Seaweed Clarifying Hair Mask

Next up!! Since we are launching this collection to day and it's Friday. Hopefully you remember we loved fried fish on Friday’s in our household!  Are you ready for another hair mask surrounding the sea?? Our household was known for fried fish on Fridays. Many things come to mind when you are a creator and fish is definitely NOT something, we want to small in our coils. So, for this one it is a memory of mom and dad and the good ole days on the fish bank.  My father was a true fisherman and he would actually catch the fish for these fried fish Friday family gatherings. The fish that he would catch would range from brim, catfish, bass and many others that I am probably not naming. For all my millennials (tilapia) did not exist. If it did, we were not familiar with it. My mom would even sometimes cook the fish on the bank of the fish creek after they were freshly caught while we the children sat and waited with white bread in hand with the head on. I hope you enjoy this Sea kelp mask as it has many efforts surrounding the ocean; salt water being one of them.

Melba's Honey Glaze Poo Bar Detergent Free (Hand Poured Poo Bar)

Mrs. Melba was known for her ham and this Honey glaze poo bar is going to embody the memory f that gem. Well, even though I no longer eat meat its truly a pleasure to remember the sweet flavor of a homemade ham glaze. She used to add cloves and cinnamon sticks to her ham with dark brown sugar, pineapple and cherries. Yum, Yum, Yum!!!! Let me tell you it was a force with a hint of mac & cheese and potato salad – I’d pour tat glaze on top and go to town. While creating this gem we soaked the base in cinnamon sticks for two days and then we double broiled it with honey, pineapple and cherry extracts. Its pretty darn amazing and we were sure to find a detergent free base this year! I do hope you love this gem as much as myself.

Mrs. Melba was one of very few women who could rock her blonde hair in the 80’s and 90’s she was a force to be reckoned with when it came to self-love. I will just start by saying; who else remembers Jungle punch? Say less, we were not allowed to drink juice at random in Mrs. Melbas house.  We drank water when we were thirsty and juice or Kool-Aid were permitted with meals only. So, on those days where mama just did not feel like making the Kool-Aid, she would purchase a gallon jug of Jungle punch from the neighborhood store. Hint: this serum smells just like juice!!

As we all know country folk love some fried okra. Mrs. Melba would make the best fried okra with white onions and stewed tomatoes over yellow rice. Geesh! I can taste it while typing - She did not bread her okra she would place it in a skillet with a hint of oil and throw it inside after cutting it up. She uses to use garlic salt and seasoning salt- I actually just throw some pink salt in there and we are good to go!  So, I decided to take this one out of the box and found black garlic and we threw some onion seed oil in there and Babe let me tell you. A mask just ain’t a mask without so yummy goodness.
